Established in 2016 by Jamaican designer Edvin Thompson, Theophilio is a contemporary ready-to-wear label celebrating culture, community, and diversity. The Brooklyn-based label produces a range of bold staples provoked by the dancehall community and diverse culture of New York. Each piece is sustainably sourced and made using upcycled fabrics. Edvin Thompson continuously draws inspiration from his warm-weathered homeland, resulting in collections of form-fitting silhouettes, romantic shapes, and vibrant hues reminiscent of Jamaica's palette. The CFDA has crowned Theophilio as its 2021 CFDA Fashion Fund Finalist and Emerging Designer of The Year.
